We went to Hawk Island Park again today. :) What a blast we all had. It's hard to believe that summer is coming to an end. Sad. :( (Especially since AnaBean LOVES swimming!)

Big boo-boos! :(

Ana took a couple of BIG falls down my parents steps the other day. The first picture is a result of the first fall. She has "racing stripes" on her forehead now. That was the imprint of the metal on their steps. :( Poor baby. And just before going home that night she fell another time. This time was worse. She had blood gushing from her mouth. She basically did two summersaults (sp?) down their steps, head first and landed on the concrete landing. NOT pretty! She got a fat lip that she bit and two big scratches on her chin. At first we thought she bit all the way thru the lip, but after calming her down, I don't think so. Poor thing. She looks so pitiful and banged up. Here's to some quick healing!!! :)

Hawk Island Park

Sorry, I can't figure out how to get the words about my post up top and the photos on bottom, unless I put the pictures in first and I already typed that all out so I wasn't deleting and starting over. ;)

We also went to Hawk Island Park on Sunday. (First time ever!) What an amazing place to take your children...and yourself if you're one big kid, like me! They had pavillions, a huge play structure/play area, a chlorinated (yay! I love clean water!) splash pad with lots of sprinkler type toys/tunnels/dumping buckets and such, a lake with a nice beach area and a boating area (where AnaBean also went on her first paddle boat ride). AnaBean's been wanting to go to the beach and this was the first time we've made it there this year. Sadly...my camera died after only a few photos. :( Guess that means we'll have to go back! Here's what I did get. Ana LOVED playing in the lake. Hopefully my sister in law got a few more photos and I'll be able to share them some day.

First boat ride..

County Fair

We took AnaBean to the County Fair this past Friday. She had a blast. LOVED the animals (pigs, horses, llamas, ducks, bunnies, cows, etc). Wasn't tall enough to ride any rides really (maybe 2, but we didn't waste our time/$) Oh and she LOVES cotton candy! (I'll have to get a picture of that one too..What a mess!) Anyway..Here's some photos:

Hip Hop carshow/concert

This past weekend we went to a Hip Hop concert/carshow. We saw several cars (older cars, new cars, lowriders, all sorts!) and a few different Hip Hop singers (Eve, Mims, Boosie, Plies and I forget the rest). AnaBean had a blast. She loves music of ALL sorts. Anyway...Here's some pictures: PRICELESS!!!!



We had to laugh. When AnaBean hears a song she likes she will start dancing. (well, to most music anyway) Well, at this concert deal, she'd close her eyes and pucker up her lips and shake her lil' booty. It was just TOOOOOO cute! Here's a few photos of her doing just that.
