Yippee!! (TMI)

This may be TMI for some of you...but for those that have raised children, you'll know why I'm SO excited and SOOOOOO very proud of my baby girl!!! As you all saw in my last post, AnaBean has been starting to go potty on the "gig girl potty" (gig=big). She's doing excellent. Yesterday I think she only had 2 small accidents. Today she hasn't had any yet (its now 2:30pm) Well..the BIG news is that she also POOPED on the potty today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) This is a huge accomplishment for AnaBean. When she informed me this morning that she had to "go"....I wasn't sure how she'd handle it. She's a "poop hider" and she asked for a diaper so that she could go poop. We talked about her going on the big girl potty...long story short..SHE DID IT!!!!! :) I'm so proud of my girl!!

Way to go AnaBean. Mommy & Daddy are very proud of you and we love you SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much sweet heart!! :)

AnaBean went pee on the potty 85-90% of the time today! We're SOOO proud of her!!!! Way to go BIG GIRL!!!!!

Daddy's Girl!!

In honor of Father's Day (yes, I'm a little behind)....I'd like to add a few photos of AnaBean and her Daddy. She loves her "Daddy Dustin" (and yes, she sometimes calls him that) SO much and has become/is becoming such a Daddy's Girl. I remember before AnaBean came home, Dustin would tell me that he dreams of the day his child would be running to him, welcoming him home from work. I must say that it just warms my heart to see this happen on a daily basis now. AnaBean gets SOOOO excited when she hears her Daddy pull in and knows he's home. I love watching the two of them together. Dustin is a terrific father. I look forward to the many fun days ahead! I love you honey. And AnaBean loves you too, Daddy! ;) God has really blessed us, huh?! Daddy & his little princess

TWO years ago today...

Wow! Two years ago today we were IN Guatemala and our little girl was placed in our arms FOREVER. That day was one of THE most amazing days of my life. I can't even put the thoughts into words to describe how incredibly blessed I am to be AnaBean's Mommy. She has brought SO much joy to my life. God knew that she was meant to be mine. I never knew a love like this. I've never felt so happy. I love this little miracle more than life itself. I was going to include some photos from the day that we got her, but my computer had a virus not long ago and ate all of my old photos :( (Thank goodness for saving disks/memory cards!) Above are ones from the day after we got her, I believe (Thanks Cory!). And then below are the newer ones were taken today.

Wow! Today, My baby is officially TWO and a HALF! ;) I don't have any recent pictures to share, yet. She weighed in at 21.5 lbs. and is 31.5" tall.

First of all, Please forgive me. I'm just learning how to do this blog stuff. As I navigate this site and webpage, I'll add more FUN stuff to it. Including LOTS of pictures. For starters...Here's a few pictures of AnaBean. She's such a beautiful blessing to me and our family. I can't believe my baby girl is going to be 2.5 on Sunday. (Time really DOES fly by, even faster when you become a Mommy!!) We'll also be celebrating our 2nd "Forever Family Day" on June 12th. Anyway. Here's the photos. Check back often! Ok, I can't figure it out, so you'll see the pictures first! LOL As you can see....I really need some tips. ;) How do I get my blog to post first? Any help is appreciated. LOL (Thanks!!
